Harmony Farms has deep roots in Mountain Center.

In 1984, Larry Bischof and his family left Hollywood for the mountains and started a small feed store and plant nursery. Over the years, Harmony Farms grew alongside the community — a place for animals and gardens, neighbors and families, and the practical rhythms of life in the mountains.

More than forty years later, the farm is growing into its next chapter.

Today, Larry, Candice Lee and Abby Rose Stone are bringing new life to Harmony Farms while honoring what has always made it special. Through workshops, farm-to-table gatherings, community events, volunteer opportunities and hands-on experiences, the farm is becoming a place to learn, gather, make things and reconnect — with the land, with practical skills, and with one another.

The roots are still here, and something new is already growing.
